use the resources as a starting point on what to
include in your lapbook.
  • What is the Oregon Trail?
  • Why did people journey so long?
  • What were some of the hardships
    along the way?
  • What was daily life like for the
    pioneers?
Oregon Trail Lapbook

Here are some photos
of how we put together
our Oregon Trail
Lapbook.  We used two
file folders and instead
of folding them in the
normal Lapbook style,
we just kept them as
they come and glued
them back to back.  For
the part of the lapbook
that flips up, we just
taped a piece of
cardstock and folded
the bottom to form a
pocket.
