Lapbook Lessons
This page is full of Free Resources you can use for
making your
Honeybee Lapbook.  I've also included
custom Minibooks that we made for our Honeybee
Lapbook. For our Honeybee Lapbook we wanted to
learn a few different things about butterflies.  You can
come up with your own objectives for the study, but
here are a couple of ideas....
  • Where do Grasshoppers live?
  • What is the life cycle of a
    Grasshopper?
  • What are some relatives of the
    Grasshopper?
There are lots of cute
Honeybee stories you can read
to go along with your lapbook.
We especially liked...

"The Bee Tree"
by Patricia Polacco

"The Life & Times of the
HoneyBee"
by Charles Micucchi

You can learn more about each
book, and see a "Used" price by

head, face, and antennae. The
children drew on the faces

Honeybee Headband
Honeybee Headband
We stapled craft foam together for the band,
and used gold craft wire and two pom-poms
for the little balls at the end. The kids loved
wearing these!
There are sooooooo many
Honeybee resource for lapbook
already, that it would have been
redundant to spend time making
more.  So most of our resources
for our Honey Bee Lapbook, we
picked up from
Homeschool
Share.  Danielle's Place also has
a cute little
Bug Buddies Studies,
for younger children with a
Christian theme of "Created for a
purpose"  It's really cute and worth
checking out!
