| This page is full of Free Resources you can use for making your Cricket Lapbook. I've also included custom Minibooks that we made for our Cricket Lapbook. For our Cricket Lapbook we wanted to learn a few different things about crickets. You can come up with your own objectives for the study, but here are a couple of ideas.... |
| We read a lot of Cricket books for our Cricket Lapbook. Our favorites were The Very Quiet Cricket, Chirping Crickets, and Old Cricket (though watch out for this one, the story lines is great but we had to "Ad-lib" a couple of the words :) |
We got the foundation for this idea from this website This little cricket is soooo adorable, and you can run your fingernails along the teeth of the comb to make the cricket "chrip" You can find full instructions at the above website, the only thing we did differently was use Floral wire for the legs, and add foam wings. If you don't add legs the children can actually use the comb in their hair. |
